Mr. Sunil Kumar Pal

Language Trainer

Mr. Sunil Kumar Pal is a PhD scholar in German Language and Translation at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He completed his MPhil and MA in German Language from the University of Delhi and a BA (Hons.) in German from JNU. His research interests include translation studies, humour translation, and intercultural communication.

He has presented papers at international symposiums, including those hosted by Bergische Universität Wuppertal and DAAD. He has served as Guest Faculty in several colleges of the University of Delhi and Amity University. He has also been awarded multiple scholarships for academic exchange and research in Germany, including at the University of Potsdam and Bergische Universität Wuppertal. He is fluent in German, Hindi, and English.

Mr. Nandan Kumar

Language Trainer

Mr. Nandan Kumar has been engaged with the German language since 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in German from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi in 2010. In 2017, he completed his Master of Arts in German Language and Literature from the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in German Literature at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

His journey as a German language educator began in 2013 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sahibganj (Jharkhand), where he served as a German Language Teacher after completing his bachelor's degree. Following the award of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2017, he joined the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi, as a tutorial teacher. Since 2019, he has been associated with Shivaji College, Shyam Lal College, and the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi, as a Guest Lecturer, teaching various German language courses.

In 2018, he was awarded a DAAD scholarship to attend a program at Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany. This three-month academic and cultural immersion provided him the opportunity to experience German life and academia firsthand.
